On the flip side of that, when I was a young feed salesman 35 years ago I met more than one farmer who could use a few lessons in courtesy. A sales rep who deals with farmers better have a thick skin, but shouldn’t be afraid to let them know he has a job to do too. Ive been in sales for 45 years. Havnt knocked on a door for decades. I work by appointment only. Best way to handle things without wasting my or the prospects time. |
