He asked if it had a CVT transmission and his response was it was AFS. That doesn't give people much confidence in the product when the salesguy doesn't even know the transmission from the technology aspect of it.
I get its tough to know the ins and puts of every tractor, combine and chopper, but yeesh that's embarrassing.
And as Chris said, now is a tough time to get into ag sales. But it's also probably a great time to learn and get good at it. The ones who get in while the getting is good are going to struggle when times are tough. If you learn to hustle and deal now, it will be a cake walk when farmers have money to burn. |
