Don't be afraid to stop by and return calls.I am 4 miles from both red and green dealerships and I think one green dealer has ever stopped here. No red salesman. Saying that they have both treated me good whenever I bought from them over the years.
I had a new salesman stop several years ago while I was grinding hay to introduce himself. I casually mentioned that I may be interested in a combine. Shortly after that we were looking at combines. Ended up buying a combine, draper head and head trailer. While looking at a planter he had at store he found one listed privately and told me I probably should go look at that one as it was a better deal for ME.
Ended up buying a swather from him also.
He told me at the beginning he was new to this and didn't know everything about the equipment but he knew who to call and find out and that he wouldn't try to BS his way thru if he didn't know the answers.
I appreciate that.
