| The decline of the character of the American people like jdironman saying is the most concerning thing to me. If the SHTF land values will be the least of our problems. Just on the most basic level what percentage of the population would die if the population couldn't get their statins, Viagra Cialis, Redilin, Insulin Ozempic OxyContin and every other upper and downer people take every day. It has to be a lot of people. Every year I go in for a physical they look at me like I am some kind of freak because I am not on any Prescription Drugs. If the Government goes down all the George Floyd types , the Trannies and probably a lot of college professors are going to be in a world of hurt.
I really don't know what is going happen. In about 1980 I thought the US Dollar was going to collapse and hard assets would be the only thing worth owning, That was wrong . Well it was "wrong" at the time. By the 90s I was back to buying smaller amounts of land. That has worked out well since then. But I am way more conservative in my purchases then I was when I was in my 20s.
I guess whenever I see these posts about land going down I have to assume the poster hasn't bought any thing. The only basis I have for saying this is because of the people I know that say such things to the man haven't bought any land. To the point of being obnoxious.
If land does go completely to heck there will probably be some pretty dire circumstances to deal with. I am not going to be obsessed with it. I will keep my fuel tanks full. my ammo stocks up and I will fair at least as good as the original poster. | |
