Nw Iowa | Biggest threat to land prices other than economics is government regulation and taxation . That said what would you prefer to own in a economic collapse? Stock market? Office buildings? Luxury homes? Gold? ( I believe goverment demanded all gold back sometime in past history) actual cash? Reality is future meltdown could be unprecedented, talk of 1 world government etc. Somebody mentioned bullets May be a commodity that is tradable but not if they take away all our guns.
