| we`re at a fork in the road on which direction that is chosen post november 5, 2024. the one road doesnt appreciate rural flyover country. the other road recognizes what the backbone of the country is. who is in office will matter when tshtf, the wrong side might raise property taxes at the local level out of spite or necessity just to keep local government lights on after state & federal cuts. what would land prices do if property taxes were $300/acre and rising? if city people cant afford hamburger let alone steak what will that do to grain prices/land prices? if interest rates remain high and increase to attract bond buyers, we already seen what 20% interest does to land prices. that said, im not selling my land, but also not looking to buy anymore either. | |
