Besides the quantity of this last round falling on already fairly saturated soils, some of it came pretty hard/fast... really a lot of standing water and full/overflowing terraces this morning.
The people who went hard early and planted April 10-15 may end up looking like the smart ones; several fields of early planted corn are emerged and at least from the road stands look pretty good. | |
