mascoutah, IL | Had another half inch last night but when you are getting 2 1/2 per week it looks like a mess. Don't remember seeing creeks almost out from a half inch rain. Have another inch predicted for tomorrow but the last 7 rains in a row have been at least double of predicted. Sitting at 7.6 inches since planting 3 weeks ago and 19.2 since Jan 1st. We dry out for about 5 days after tomorrow but then a week of rain after. Starting to believe we may not turn a wheel in May. Will need to post spray the beans that make it before I start planting again at this pace. We have been wet before but jeez we can't get a 48 hour stretch without another system. Have not been able to walk any of my planted fields it's been so wet.
