Jf2 - 5/8/2024 11:00 We raised a lot of White Rocks. Always heard talk of Capons; but know we never did raise any. Dreaded butcher day growing up, knowing I would be picking feathers all day. Usually we would do about 100 a day.
These days we use a chicken plucker and a scalding vat. That's the only way I'd ever butcher chickens.
