South west of Winnipeg MB | Dad would get 75 day old chicks around the first of april and he would have a hard time keeping them warm enough. They got chick starter for a while then we just firered up the 720 and the crusher. Crushed wheat. After they were a few weeks old they just ran around the yard and back in and shut up for the night. Then around the first of november it was time to process them. I remember some dress out at 11 pounds. Chicken for supper every sunday supper. |
