Subject: RE: Carbon Intensity Score and Ethanol - Tax Credits Sell for CASH in 2025-2028

East Central South Dakota
The grinder ahead of the fermenter can handle corn from 16.5 to 17 moisture easily. If the ethanol industry is so worried about their carbon footprint quit discounting for moisture up to 17 percent. Look at all the hydrocarbons in drying corn you could save if you didn't force farmers into drying corn just to rewet it in the fermenters.

If the ethanol industry is so environmentally conscious stop drying distillers' grains. If all the soybean plants get built for oil, we will be swimming in soybean meal.

Growers would all have a lower carbon score if the GREET formulas would stop giving us points for indirect land use in Brazil. The whole GREET formula is simply man derived arbitrary numbers pulled out of thin air.

nitrogen inhibitors are classified as pesticides

The whole system is designed to allow polluters to continue to pollute by buying credits. The people behind this should be in environmental jail.

No science and a lot of greed.
