This year we’re averaging so many bushels per day for 39 days from the 22nd of April until the 14th of June I think it is. Most places offer this. It takes the guess work out of marketing. I’ve seen a lot of charts that say 80% of the time the highs come within that period of time. I usually do around 25% of what I want to forward contract by doing it this way. |
