| Set goals based on time and % of crop based on APH. Example: “I want 40% of aph sold during a typical spring rally” so sell 20% right now via hta or straight cash sale for fall delivery with the place you intend to deliver to in the fall. And put in another offer for the other 20% a little higher than where we are currently. If you become confident in your estimated production in another month or so, make another sale if we have decent prices.
This is just an example you can use your own percentages and timelines. But don’t get complacent, get a stake in the ground soon, this could be our only rally the rest of the season. | |
