West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12 | We use Budget rental because we get a 20% discount through our insurance company so I checked to see what EV options they have at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. Budget rents a standard elite Mustang Mach E or similar for $61.42/day before any discounts taxes and fees and a Chevy Bolt or similar intermediate EV for $68.79/day before any discounts taxes and fees.
Budget must want to get a few miles on their Mach Es because the Mach E is the third least expensive vehicle to rent from them. The least expensive is a mid size pickup at $59.78/day the second is a minivan at $60.60/day. The Mach E is even cheaper than the mystery car option.
I have test drove a Mach E so I know which option I would choose...the Mustang Mach E will tickle your tummy when you stomp on the go pedal.
edit to add. My little sister was issued a Chevy Bolt when she chose the mystery car option last week for a couple days when she flew down to FL to fly home with my mother and she got along fine...which surprised me.
