Are you asking how to do that on your GPS receiver? What brand are you using? My guess is you're using a Trimble 372 and Case 700 if you have a skipping issue?
Also, precision planting displays are fine with 5hz. That's 200ms or 5x per second. Any faster than that and the signal might be a little fast for that older display.
