If you pull a stock trailer and really want to do it easier you could buy a simple day cab tractor.For 25 grand you can get a unit that will last you decades,it willstop better,pull more weight,run with very little issues..Take the $$ you have left from not buying the 85K$ one ton and buy a decent gas pickup that will ride like a dream and get better fuel mileage.Before the feds ruined diesel pickups with demands for NoX reduction a one ton made sense.One option is avoidance.
