North Central Kansas | I dropped a cow off this spring to be butchered. She was no prize winner as she had dislocated both hips. We had nursed her along and fed her good over the winter but she didn't gain like she would have had she not been injured. I was a little embarrassed by how she looked but when I got to the locker plant I decided that she looked 100% better than what was waiting there. Their were 3-4 steers in the pen. None of them were close to finished. | |
