just a tish NE of central ND		I hate to say it, but I have cut a lot of wire into small pieces just to get the scrap place to take it. Cut bed springs and cattle and hog panels into small pieces to they fit the dedicated pickup box trailer just to get rid of that scrap.
IF YOU CAN roll the barbed into tight big heavy rolls with wire roller and throw them in the scrap, they don't mid so much. When scrap was higher I loaded 6 tons? of rolled up wire rolls into a 2-ton truck and almost them away free to the scrap yard to get them to take it! All I wanted was my gas to haul them in. They worked with me since in a solid roll they could shear the roll across the strands with the shear on the crane so all they have is small, short pieces to deal with instead of springs or barbed mess.
