Did you post it? Quick way to rule out vaccine is to cut them open and see what it looks like. Could very well be vaccine related. Could be the calf got stepped on or something else. We hauled a group of cows to grass last year. We dumped them in a pen before letting them out so they could pair up. We let them out and everything looked good. Came back the next day and had a dead calf. Posted it and it had a hematoma on its abdomen. Apparently a cow had stepped on it rupturing its intestines.


Same type of deal here the other day. We were pairing up to take to grass and one cow doubled back and ran over a random calf. Kinda turned him into a ball. Dead in just an instant. Broken neck or spine I would guess.

I've seen a lot of crashes like that and I always cringe when it happens and hope it turns out well. Not this time
