| I have a White planter and run the hydraulic fan motor out of the SCVs on the tractor. It’s worked great for years, but unfortunately I must have had the hoses flipped around and ended up blowing the seal and sending oil to all the seed meters…
To prevent this in the future, I was seeking to add a check valve so oil can’t enter the fan motor outlet port in the event the SCV is incorrectly selected.
Will I have any concern for back pressure from the check valve and the coupler valves going through the SCV return? I hate to blow that seal again, so see the check valve as a safe guard. I hope to not blow the seal with the potential extra back pressure.
Also note, this is a closed center hydraulic system.
