Central KS | My main issue with these lists is that instead of considering the actual quality of the criteria, they focus on "money spent on ....." or "laws in place for ....." as if that makes it better.
For example, Montana scores #31 on natural environment. Rhode Island scores #3. I've been both places, and if you think RI has a better environment than MT, you're nuts. The only way they could have come up with this ranking is because RI spends oodles of money on parks. Tiny areas of relief from their otherwise miserable environment. | |
