The various accents of workers from around the world, as well as the dialects found in N.A. As you move from Oklahoma through the Great Plains and Montana and into Canada would be quite interesting to share in future years.
A combine cruising along underneath a sunset or a truck approaching out of a cloud of dust also has a pretty neat impact to look at or share as compared to the pictures alone.
And the biggest thing. Don’t just fill your data file with pics of a combine cutting wheat. Seen one of those from Kansas, pretty well seen em all. But pics with crew members at dinner time, at a small town watering hole,the cute girls weighing the trucks in town, or at the hundreds of unique spots that no one has ever heard of that are off the beaten path that can only be found in small town America will be the bigger parts of the whole experience.
Keep your nose clean out there, and keep an open mind and be ready for whatever the day will bring. I ended up at two weddings of folks I’d never met before, went four wheeling with farm families or neighbors we worked with, experienced July fourth on the bar rooftops in Denver,went up in a Cessna to see the lay of the land, and piles of other stuff. There were also a few morning headaches caused by fluid intake the night before.
And, if you don’t watch yourself, or if you do, you could find yourself married. It’s happened more then occasionally.

Update on going on wheat harvest this summer
