Quite a few years ago I bought a "decent", not best but good, airless paint sprayer. That sprayer has paid for itself many times over, I still brush a lot of places or the whole thing but just getting the paint on the surface quicky vs dip dip dip is a real time saver.

Did the same, painted the old girl (part of it built around 1850, no fat finger on the keyboard) a couple of times with the airless. Sure was I lot faster than the times I did it with the brush. This year plan is to put a steel top and sides on her. I know there is more than several layers of lead paint that will get covered up for certain.
