Thumb of Michigan | Not to be a 'Debbie downer' (BTW I'd be proud as a peacock myself), but you could be exposing yourself to litigation. IIRC there was a grandfather that got sued by the Federal Government for allowing his grandson to run a skid-steer loader on his farm. He was in violation of child labor laws (no timecard, no training, under age, no wages being paid, etc.). Grandson was killed, grandfather lost farm paying fines/lawyers. This happened back when Hilary's husband was in office.
My understanding it's legal for parents to have children working with no pay, under certain age, running equipment etc., but not grandparents.
