SW Iowa | I bought a Forester brand new in 2018. Last of that era and all the bugs were worked out by then. Only problems I had were a couple flat tires due to nails.
I have always taken good care of my vehicles. Engine oil changed with synthetic every 5000 miles. (2000 miles on the first time)
Every 30,000 miles the front and rear diff oils, brake fluid and a drain and refill of the CVT fluid. Battery lasted 5 1/2 years.
Only fuel ever put in was top tier.
I quit driving last fall and gave it to my Granddaughter with 60,000 miles. Good first vehicle for a teen. Safety rating and fuel mileage are great. Put on new Michelin CC2 tires and it will go about anywhere in the Iowa snow. | |
