Picked up another 2.1 last night southwest of you Doug, puts us at 7.5 since last Friday night with more on the way next 4 days. Sitting at 20 inches for the year so far.River is up and the locks are closed,so all the water has to be pumped over now which isn't a quick process. What was turning out to be a nice spring has turned into a freaking mess in a hurry. I'd imagine most of the corn and beans that were planted before this rain will need to be replanted along with all the drowned out holes. Think I'll just stay home today instead of driving around looking at fields.
Ouch.Sorry to hear that. 1982 was a beach of a wet spring here, hope this isn’t shaping up to be a repeat of that. We got everything planted, unlike 2013, the big prevent plant year here. But most of it after June 8. 40/40/40 corn. All of it.
