We’ll deal with it…..we have to. But being able to get in with good planting conditions and having full yield potential are pretty much out the window ( in the north)
Statistically after the 15th to the 20th we’ll start taking bigger hits.
Can still turn out ok, but our margin for error is shrinking quickly. June corn won’t work well 9/10 of the time up here. So we’ve really got the second half of May to plant the crop.
Not much will get planted in this area for at least 7-10 days.
About 1/3 of our corn got planted but about 10-15% of that is now under water.
We’ll do our best, but honestly next week I’ll have to start going through plan b, c, d scenarios to be prepared.
Has to stop raining first….see what happens Monday/Tuesday
