Nw Iowa | Those temps don’t dry anything out very fast. Is some wind Monday though. I am not one of those guys that says we won’t be out for a week or whatever because weather changes so fast but there will be nobody out here till late Monday and that would be pretty limited on a well tiled higher ground and sun and wind dependent. Was a lot of small puddles still standing from Wed night rain here before another 1/2 in last night. We are really soaked. We have been very fortunate to avoid the 3” fast rains though. My brother commented in March that I bet we see a wet spring and he was right. He said that after driest winter on record in a long while. Farming is always so interesting, different challenges every year, never boring. | |
