Should I be able to get my cows bred in a 45 day cycle instead of a 60 day cycle if they are in good shape going to grass?

That will all depend upon both your grass and your cows.

I understand that the 45 day sounds great but maybe try at 50 days first.

(Also running cattle but on my sheep - - book says 2 cycles for breeding - - - - I've been using 1 + 5 days for years and haven't been having
issues with this for quite a few years.)
