Dix (Boyd), IL | I have a 1990 air seeder with full Deere blockage and population monitoring on the 2630 screen. This seeder has no rate controller. Often when I pull it out of the barn, as soon as my SF3000 globe attains a signal, I hear the 2630 beep that it is beginning recording. It will not paint on the coverage map, but the acres covered amount will continually increase as if I'm planting. So by the time I get to a field, my documentation will say that I've planted several acres going down the road.
My recording is set to automatic. It does this with a whisker switch below the rear row unit rockshaft. That whisker switch is working properly according to diagnotics and physically appears fine.
I have tried pulling back on the #1 SCV, as this is what stops recording in the field. However, this does not stop the recording while my seeder is folded up on the drive or on the road. Thoughts? | |
