Southwestern Minnesota | As has been mentioned previously, they want you to know that a memorial was sent. If they make it out to the charity, then they are able to take a tax deduction for it. If they just give a monetary donation, then it is not tax-deductible for them. Mostly they want you to know. If it seems like a burden, then ask your funeral director to direct the funds. Cards, donations, thank you notes can be overwhelming. Take your time and allow the grieving time you need. | |
