coast of Maine
Huskncob.,,I can relay a stupid happening last weekend with a 7430.Operator called and said no remotes.I went and indeed none, told him to unhook the batteries and go off with another crew.I headed back to get my testing equip (and a coffee) and a mind calming drive.I come back and hook up the 3 cables to batteries.Frigger would do everything as far as lights and fuses(tested all and all relays) but not crank,WTF,now no start and it was only a computerized hydraulic outlet before..I even did the screw driver to starter trick but no fuel flow was being allowed by computer. An hour later after I called my local tech guy and scheduled him for Monday,,my employee walked over and said"I tucked an extra ground wire behind the battery"WTF it solved all but the hydraulic coupler,,which I got enough working to finish the day.Check those ancillary grounds.
