sc ks | It's not used cooking oil (uco). It's palm oil being sold as uco to get the US taxpayers' subsidies. The joke is that they drop a potato chip in a tanker of palm oil and presto....It's magically uco. Uco gets a higher subsidy because its "green." Palm is far from green....it has a huge carbon footprint.
Another govt program that ran off the rails and transferred our kids' wealth to someone else. Palm oil prices have magically fallen to the same as uco prices while driving down both of them due to the government cheese.
