18 contracts open interest isnt very liquid
If you want to trade MPLS it is much better using futures, if you want to buy a put it makes sense to buy CBOT puts if you feel that CBOT wheat is overvalued versus MPLS wheat
If you want to hedge it, then MPLS futures makes more sense then CBOT futures
