Nebraska | Did they ever suck to begin with? I say that because we deal with dummy calves sometimes but they never suck to begin with and once they learn they catch on very quick, takes 2 - 3 days of tubing them twice a day and catching the cow in the chute and holding the calf under her squirting milk in its mouth so they get the taste. Takes alot of patience from owner and cow but doable. Luckily we have the facilities to deal with these problems and keep them together for a few weeks after the calf gets going. | |
