Hoisington, KS | OK, this is getting old. Multiple rain chances in the last couple weeks and we've had 0.12" since February 5. I've been reporting rainfall for NWS and Cocorahs since 2008 and have never seen it this dry. I hate to be pessimistic as I'm sure there are places drier than this, but this is supposed to be our wet time of the year. Ponds all dry, no grass, wheat is burned up again and no subsoil moisture to get a crop going. | |
