Bardstown, Ky | Due to a hailstorm we have installed new vinyl siding on our house. Our bathroom has two smaller windows side by side and the way they are positioned, shutters just don’t work to decorate them. We bought a window pediment to go above them just to dress them up a little. It is made of solid PVC and I need to see if anyone has advice on how to mount it. My thought is to simply drill some holes in it in line with where the house studs are and use screws to fasten it to the wall, being careful to not tighten the screws enough to smash the siding. Any thoughts on a better way to do this?
