Exactly. Tons of acres were planted just before the deluge. Now it’s fighting a dry crust and cold night time temps and mud underneath. There will be some very poor stands as a result. It’s ironic, but the crops trying to emerge could use a shower and the unplanted fields are too wet to plant. Poorest conditions since 2019.
