North Central Kansas | A while back you asked about pasture pens. We dropped our cows in my brothers section 12 pasture yesterday. I took a few pictures so you can see the layout. We built it last fall. It worked great last fall. We plan on moving a tub and building a short alley to precondition calves this summer.
The two sort pens are 16’x60’ with 16’ alleys on each end. The east alleyway necks down to a trailer loans/unload alley. The catch pen is 60’x100’ with a crowd fence leading into two 20’ gates on each side with 20’ section of continuous fence.
