WC Ohio | I did something similar last year at this time. I left the coop after 11 years 5 as branch manager and went into maintenance at a multi location dr office 30 hrs a week. My dad and I were farming almost 500 acres and it was to the point of having to something different. It was hard to change to something outside of ag at first but it was the best thing I could have done.
Like you I should have left sooner. I miss my customers and employees but they are leaving one by one customers and employees both. The stress the upper management was making was ridiculous and also having 12-14 employees (I had the best group of employees I could have asked for).
The guy I replaced was retiring and he told me if I had much stress at this job I needed to figure out what I was doing wrong. He was right repair stuff as I get them and keep up on the monthly checks everyone is happy. | |
