Ok…..let’s do some simple math to tone it down for you. Let’s use your extreme example of 1 month and 6 million bushel. Have you done the math on that? On a 14.5bbu crop, that is less than half a percent of US production. Tell me again how relevant it is. ..
usually Joe I can go along with most your numbers. As you pointed out with a 14.5 bu crop the number is miniscule,however To me it still represents a large amount for the area.. What is normally ground there will move to another area and swamp the market there and the rippple affect will continue for many miles.
The other affect is the extra bu affect.. When any crop is over produced,even by a bu the price goes up.. Soon as everyone has their supply locked the price goes down.. So slowing down usage for even a day or two ripples back through the farm country.
