We lost 1 at 11, then had an adopted son take his own life at 15 and the next year a foster son at 17. In grief counseling, the pastor talked about questions but I told him, we likely wouldn't know the reason for these losses this side of heaven. Thankfully spouse is still here, but I make sure she knows she is appreciated every day.
