We have made some changes to AgTalk in the last few days. We have finally been able to transfer the domain names. newagtalk.com and www.newagtalk.com will take you to our home page. talk.newagtalk.com will take you to the forum index page. We hope this will alleviate all the confusion that was created by the temporary urls. You will have to login again when you use the domain names. The cookies on your machine are linked to the temporary urls. The DNS servers are still picking up the new domains, so you may see a redirect until all the servers are fully populated.
With the domain transfer, we have been able to activate the email functions of the software. You can now subscribe to email notifications on threads. If new posts are made to a thread that you subscribe to, you will receive an email (if you have a working email address in your profile) alerting you to the new posts. You can even subscribe to an entire board. You will receive an email any time a new post is made to that board.
We have also enabled forgotten password notification. If you forget your password, use the “forgotten password” link on the login page. Enter your user ID or email address and you will receive an email at the address in your profile. The email will give you a link and instructions to reset your password.
We now have a webmaster email address. Webmaster@newagtalk.com will send an email to the AgTalk admin team.
