Sunnyvale, CA
the current version of the EZ-Guide Plus when configured to output NMEA pipes the NMEA from the internal GPS receiver to the output port (while still feeding GPS info the guidance portion). It is in the guidance portion that the T2 info is applied. So the NMEA out is not roll corrected. the EZ-Guide Plus port can be split when using an external GPS receiver like the Ag332, with NMEA in and NMEA out, however, the data is still not roll corrected on the output. If an Ag332 were used in the Guidance portion, T2 data is applied. the port spl;itting is handy if you have an external beacon correction receiver. In that case you can input the corrections to the EZ-Guide Plus and output NMEA that is DGPS corrected, because the DGPS correction is applied before the position fix is computed. The port can be split for that application, Corrections in and NMEA out.

In the Autopilot a different scheme is used. the AP controller takes in GPS fro the external receiver, roll corrects it with the T3 and then, if one of the serial ports is configured for NMEA out, will provide roll corrected NMEA data.
