North shore of Lake Ontario | Had this happen a number of years ago and they replaced the brakes and what else was involved. Last year both wheels started leaking and on removing the motors and brakes we found the brakes were wore out. The kit to repair was more than two wheel motors complete so that’s what we did. If I remember correctly they were 15k for the pair and the kit was the same but you had to do the work and you still had an old motor. It will fill the hub with oil until the axle seals can’t take the pressure and then they start to leak. Was not a bad job to repair. Had it in our shop and the tech came down and we helped him. |
