Milford, IL | The Danville,Illinois Red Lobster restaurant abruptly closed yesterday, laid off all the workers, and the entire contents of the store are for sale at online auction ending Thursday.
I know Red Lobster stores have been in some financial trouble for some time, and we don't visit nearly enough to help them keep the lights on. Food quality isn't what it once was, and lots of the fresh seafood options have been completely removed from the menu. Still makes me a little sad, Red Lobster was one of our preferred stops for seafood if not eating at a locally owned establishment. Danville store had been open for 31 years. | |
