SE IL | Most everything is conventional tillage here as well, but with our temps and lots of rain you don’t wait for a mess to try to work the weeds out. Some fall spraying helps but that can increase erosion as well. Even will fall tillage or herbicide though those fields are breaking. Here is a pic out my window of a piece that was fall sprayed. My guess is it may have gotten hit again this past week to kill what’s there. Another 2 weeks without anything and it would get pretty hairy.
